Savannah Rubio
Howdy! My name is Savannah Deegan, I teach agricultural sciences at Clark High school. I am now on my second year of teaching here in Plano ISD. I am part of a military family and have lived in many different settings and areas. I did though get to go to high school here in Plano, attending high school at Vines HS and graduating from Plano Sr. High. I was part of the FFA program when I was in high school, all four year, and raised pigs for three of my four years in FFA. I went on to attend Texas A&M Commerce and then transferred to Texas A&M University in College Station where I was a member of the collegiate FFA. I am now a lifetime member of the FFA Alumni Association. I have been a big member of the agricultural community for quite a few years now, especially where it pertains to agricultural education. I will soon begin a dual masters in Educational Leadership and School Counseling. As an advisor for the Plano FFA chapter I help the students out where needed when it comes to animal projects, with my main animal concentration in Rabbits. I also train various CDE and LDE teams. At Clark HS I teach SmallAnimal Management, Wildlife, Livestock, and Professional Standards in Agribusiness (Leadership). I also am certified and teach Comm Apps as well.
